A note from our Director

Every child, known by name.

Each morning I watch children walk into our classrooms and choose their work with real purpose. Some head straight for the Montessori shelves. Others go to the studio to pick up a project they started the day before. That mix of order and creativity is what makes River Heights different.

Our educators are trained in both Montessori and Reggio-inspired practice, and they take the time to know every child and every family. Through our daily e-reports, you will see what your child explored, created and discovered.

We are open all year, so learning never has to pause for the summer. I would love to show you around.

Parent testimonials

In our families' own words.

Ray joined River Heights after we moved to Canada, when he was three. At the time, he spoke virtually no English and had never attended daycare or preschool before, so it was a completely new environment for him.

It has been wonderful to see how much he has grown since then. He now communicates confidently in English, has made some lovely friendships, and has become very independent in his daily routines. He has also developed so much academically and socially, but what means the most to me is that he genuinely enjoys going to River Heights every day.

The educators have always been incredibly caring, patient and supportive, especially through such a big transition in his life. As a parent, seeing how happy, comfortable and confident he has become is probably the best testimonial I can give. I'm very grateful to everyone at River Heights for giving him such a warm and welcoming place to grow.

Choosing a daycare for your children is one of the biggest decisions, and our family has truly hit the jackpot with RHCC.

Our two-year-old daughter is thriving, and seeing how fast she became to love daycare is very reassuring. Knowing she is surrounded by the same warmth, patience, and love that our son experienced when he attended here fills me with gratitude. Watching both of our children grow, learn, and build special bonds with the staff has shown us how much they care about our kids. RHCC prepared my son for school, and I have no doubt they will do the exact thing for my daughter.

Thank you to the entire team for everything you do. We wouldn't want our kids anywhere else!

Parent of two

Banks loves River Heights. He has made a great group of friends, he adores his teachers, and he gets so excited about all the hands-on activities they do together.

Most mornings he can't wait to get out the door, and as parents, that tells us everything we need to know. Thank you to the whole team for making River Heights such a happy place for him.
